The required documents are as follows:
1. Scanned copy of current and previous passport, including photo pages, Chinese visa pages, residence permit pages and exit-entry stamp pages.
You must submit the copies of passports or may ask a third party to present with these copies to the Public Security Bureau.
2. Scanned copy of residence registration form(s).

Does the Shanghai Non-Criminal Record Certificate cover all of China?
In China, criminal record certificates are not issued by central government agencies, but by local governments.
